For this assignment, you will be required to use texts and conduct the necessary research to explore the multiple perspectives on an issue. Use this research to help readers understand the complexity of your chosen issue and the important sub-issues, perspectives, and stakeholders for that issue. You should explore the connections and differences among your research materials, acknowledging the way that the materials relate to each other as well as to your own emerging perspective. Through this essay, you will be synthesizing sources into a coherent form that your colleagues can understand—meaning that you should look at general ideas and come up with some specific things that you have gathered from this research. Often the editorial pages of news sources speak for their governments or publish editorials to attempt to influence policy. Find seven texts on the issue of your choice. Execute a rhetorical analysis of each text and let them influence your free writing, outlines, rough drafts and so on. Please be sure to write a cohesive essay which illustrates the research you’ve conducted for the academic community at MCC.
Please Note: Your essay should have a clear and concise theses.
